WHAT IS THE NYSSF?

The NATIONAL YOUTH SPORTS SAFETY FOUNDATION, INC. (NYSSF), formerly the National Youth Sports Foundation For The Prevention of Athletic Injuries, was established in 1989 as a national non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to reducing the number and severity of injuries youth sustain in sports and fitness activities through the education of health professionals, program administrators, coaches, parents and athletes. The Foundation is the only organization in the country solely dedicated to this objective.
